The goals and objectives of the Club are to:
- To encourage and promote quality in the breeding
of purebred dogs and to do all possible to bring
their natural qualities to perfection.
- To develop educational programs as part of the
Club's activities and provide Club members with opportunities
to increase their knowledge of purebred dogs.
- To urge members and breeders to accept the standard
of breeds as approved by the Canadian Kennel
Club as the premier standard of excellence.
- To do all in its power to protect and advance the
interest of the breeds and to encourage sportsmanlike
competition at conformation shows, field trials
and tests, and obedience trials.
- To conduct, where possible, sanctioned and approved
events under the rules of the Canadian Kennel
Club and to abide by the principles of the Canadian
Kennel Club Code of Ethics.
