Club members and their dogs are involved in presentations of dog obedience exercises at different schools in the city.

Children and staff members are usually amazed at these performances and are given tips on handling pets and do's and don'ts of training.

CDKC members Debbie Bourbonnais and Bobby Page have
R.A.E.D dogs which are Reading Assistant Education Dogs.

Debbie with Joey (Standard Schnauzer) and Bobby with Blue (German Shepherd) are certified to work with children. Currently they are involved with children in a pre-school, a Learning Disability School, and at the Public Library.

They visit each school once a month. In addition they did demonstrations at Family Days which were held on the Monday and Tuesday of the mid-winter break.
