Cornwall District Kennel Club offers Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions of Obedience classes which run from Puppy Kindergarten to advanced trial training. Training is done in a spacious indoor facility in Cornwall.

Our instructors participate in CKC trials, obedience seminars, sanction matches and fun matches in the Ottawa and Monteal regions. Two instructors are also CKC breeders. Our Puppy Trainer, Pat Carpenter, and our Beginners trainer, Andrée Hunter, have put titles on their dogs. Our trial instructor, Jane McMee, have put many OTCH titles on their dogs.

Training is done by CKC rules using motivational methods, and competing and non-competing dogs are welcome in our classes.

Classes offered are Puppy Kindergarten, Beginners, Pre novice, Novice, Open and Utility.

Cornwall District Kennel Club also holds four Obedience trials at the annual dog show on Labour Day weekend.

Some of our Obedience people and their canine companions actively participate in the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog visitations.

We and our "best friends" are also available to accept requests for other community events.
